The Backside of Paris
A memoir based on the aberrant ventures of a show-boy in Paris during the early 1970s. . “The Backside of Paris” is a cultural and sexual coming out sparkling with rhinestones and feathers, celebrities, drag-queens, transsexuals, eurosexuals, and hookers; a depraved new world teetering on the era of Disco and party drugs, a world teeming with unconstrained sex, hot piss and penicillin, humor and romance. Oft colorful, seldom gray, “The Backside of Paris” pulsates in culture-shock, social discrepancies, and bizarre encounters that rocked the foundations of my puritanical belief system and left me hoping for more.
